تعود جذور هذا المسرح إلى عام 1663 ولكن مسرح رويال دروري لين الحالي ذو 2,190 مقعد إفتتح في عام 1812.
فقد تم بناء أول مسرح في هذا الموقع عام 1663، ومن ثم تم إعادة بناء ثلاثة مسارح مختلفة في نفس الموقع في كل من الأعوام 1674 و1794 و1812 على التوالي.

With a history dating back to 1663, the existing 2,190 seats capacity Theatre Royal Drury Lane opened in 1812.
The first theatre to be built on this site was in 1663, and that original theatre was replaced over the years by three other theatres in 1674, 1794 and 1812 respectively.
The theatre is currently showing the musical “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.
